It is the utmost priority to us to maintain the safety of our members, guests, and staff at all times, and we abide by all safety guidelines in place by the State of Delaware. Please refer to the information below to stay up to date regarding KCCC's response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and for information on Club operations and safety measures to keep in mind when visiting the Club.
The Clubhouse has been equipped with medical grade commercial air purifiers/scrubbers, which sanitize the air using an HEPA-Rx filter, Germicidal UV-C+ bulbs, and a Hydroxyl Radical Reactivity chamber to help keep you and our staff safe. We also perform extensive cleaning and sanitizing daily in all areas of the Club to provide a safe environment.
Members who have received the full administration of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 shots for Moderna/Pfizer, or 1 shot for Johnson & Johnson) at least 14 days prior may enter any Club building without wearing a face covering. Members who have not been fully vaccinated must continue to wear a face covering while inside of any Club building, as well as outside when proper social distancing cannot be maintained. Proper social distancing for those that have not been fully vaccinated remains at 6 feet. The compliance with these guidelines is the responsibility of each individual member, and it is not the responsibility of the Club Management or staff to validate vaccination status or enforce conformity.
Members are highly encouraged to make a reservation to dine at the Club, and are also encouraged to utilize Club take-out services via curbside pick-up and delivery (within a 3 mile radius). The use of outdoor dining areas will be available, weather permitting.
Members must make a reservation to use the fitness facilities. Only six (6) people are allowed in the Fitness Center for general fitness, and four (4) additional people allowed on the peloton bikes. Equipment should be sanitized both before & after use. Our Fitness Center is also equipped with the same air purifier/scrubbers that we have in the Clubhouse (3 upstairs and 1 on the lower level on the lobby) to help sanitize the air while you are working out. Our housekeeping team sanitizes the Fitness Center several times during each day. We thank you in advance for your cooperation as we work together to keep everyone safe.
