Covid-19 Updates & Information

It is the utmost priority to us to maintain the safety of our members and staff at all times. Please refer to the information below to stay up to date regarding KCCC's response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and for information on Club operations and safety measures to keep in mind when visiting the Club.  

General

  • Face coverings are required at ALL times while inside in any club building, as well as outside when social distancing cannot be observed.
  • Members, their families, and guests must maintain 6ft of distance between members and staff at all times. 
  • Indoor and Outdoor public gatherings (weddings, receptions, graduations, birthday parties, funerals, etc.) are limited to 10 people. Any event put on by or hosted at the Club will be held strictly in accordance with current Delaware state health & safey guidelines and restrictions. 
  • The Clubhouse has been equipped with medical grade commercial air purifiers/scrubbers, which sanitize the air using an HEPA-Rx filter, Germicidal UV-C+ bulbs, and a Hydroxyl Radical Reactivity chamber to help keep you and our staff safe. We also perform extensive cleaning and sanitizing daily in all areas of the Club to provide a safe environment. This includes electrostatic disinfectant treatments twice a week that have a 5-day residual effect.
  • Failure to wear masks or observe physical distancing risks the health of our employees and members.  Any member or individual neglecting to wear masks as required, maintain physical distancing or is found to have knowingly come to the Club with symptoms will face immediate disciplinary action.  Protecting yourself and those around you is of utmost importance.

Dining 

  • Members must make a reservation to dine at the Club, and are also encouraged to utilize Club take-out services via curbside pick-up and delivery (within a 3 mile radius).
  • The use of outdoor dining areas with portable heaters and fire pits will be made available when there is fair weather throughout the winter months. The Outdoor Patio & Bar will also remain open (with heaters) this entire winter to offer an outdoor dining location. 
  • Within the Club dining rooms, all seating has been socially distanced a minimum of 6ft chair to chair, and will not exceed the limit of 30 percent of fire capacity indoors.
  • Only members from the same household may share a table. Tables/Reservations are limited to parties of 6 people, with no more than 4 adults.
  • All members must continue to wear their masks while dining, except when actively eating and drinking, and must put on their mask when a server approaches the table, as well as if/when they get up from the table to use the restroom or leave after the meal.
  • Our dining facilities must close no later than 10:00pm each night.

Golf 

  • Members, their families, and guests must maintain 6ft of distance between members and staff at all times when on and off the golf course.

Fitness 

  • Members must make a reservation to use the fitness facilities. Only six (6) people are allowed in the Fitness Center at one time (this does not count towards Pelotons on the lower level or specific group classes). 
  • Members, their families, and guests must maintain 6ft of distance between members and staff at all times.
  • Masks must be worn at all times, including during strenuous exercise.
  • Equipment should be sanitized both before & after use.
  • Our Fitness Center is also equipped with the same air purifier/scrubbers that we have in the Clubhouse (3 upstairs and 1 on the lower level for the Peloton bikes) to help sanitize the air while you are working out. Our housekeeping team sanitizes the Fitness Center several times during each day.

Racquets

  • Members, their families, and guests must maintain 6ft of distance between members and staff at all times. 
  • Please be considerate and wait on the patio prior to playing.
  • Wait for the proceeding players to leave the courts and sidewalks before you enter the Tennis/Pickleball Courts.
  • Do not congregate by the entrances of the Pickleball and Tennis Courts after play.
